Lutron’s New Intelligent Lumaris Downlights

Lumaris LED downlights feature 4-inch recessed lights, providing quiet ceiling aesthetics and a modern, minimalist design. The 5/6-inch downlights are ideal for homeowners looking for a bolder statement. In some instances, they can even act as a focal point. 

These lights are ideal for retrofit, remodel, and new construction projects. A standard retrofit model allows our team to install them into existing cans. The line also offers a fully integrated canless housing, an ideal solution for new construction and renovations. The anti-glare technology provides increased comfort, reducing hot spots that are a common occurrence with downlights. 

The Light

Even more beautiful than the fixtures is the light that illuminates a room. Unlike other LED lights that are limited to one color channel, each light features tunable white light and warm dim settings, ranging from 1800K to 4000K. At one end of the spectrum, they provide a soft, warm illumination. At the other end, a bright white light.

The highest quality, flicker-free dimming ensures a seamless transition from bright white task lighting to a soft incandescent glow. With a CRI of 90+, you can count on lights that bring out the natural and realistic colors of your surroundings, making your home and its textures, artwork, and furnishings look their best.

In addition to tunable white light, the Lumaris tape light offers RGB full color, transforming any space with app-based color controls or intuitive scenes. Press ‘Relax,’ and the lighting transitions to soft cyan, indigo, and violet. 

You can also switch this lighting to Natural Show, a setting that aligns the color and intensity of your lights with the natural light of the sun. Changing throughout the day, it creates a home in tune with the natural world and the shifting sunlight.  

Effortlessly Controlled

You can control the lights as a single element with Lutron’s premium whole-home automation system, HomeWorks, or their wireless system, RadioRA 3. Tap an elegant keypad, and your lights transform. These systems also integrate with automated shades, creating the ideal lighting for various activities and times of day by managing natural and artificial light.
